Fractions with me :)
I had learn't fractions when I was about in third grade, it was a bit hard for me though. Remembering them was easier, one number has to be above the line and another number has to be below, . That is a fact but actually there is a certain name for those numbers. The number on top, which represents the shaded, eaten or left is the numerator and the number below, which represents the total or altogether is the denominator. Once I got the names, I moved on to try the advanced portion(ha ha, get it? It's related to fractions... Never mind!)
Just knowing what the numbers are called wouldn't get me anywhere, there were more I needed to learn than I expected. Equivalent fractions- Multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number to create different sets of fractions. Addition in fractions- Add the numerators of both numbers and copy the common denominator. Subtraction in fractions- Subtract the numerators but the denominators have to be the same. Multiplication in fractions- Multiply the numerators and the denominators for the answer.
What about division? I don't have the slightest clue of why I didn't get to learn how the division worked in fractions. But you could probably search on google though. I am pretty proud of myself for completing this.. a..a..This completely different lesson.
